The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Wednesday that Congress led UPA government was earlier in emergency ward has now shifted to ICU after the withdrawal of Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress from the government.

BATHINDA: The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Wednesday that Congress led UPA government was earlier in emergency ward has now shifted to ICU after the withdrawal of Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress from the government.
Speaking to media persons after visiting Talwandi Sabo thermal plant, Badal said that UPA government has no mandate to take any policy decision as it has lost majority in Lok Sabha.

He said that UPA was like a brain dead patient that was on ventilator surviving on artificial life support system and it is time to say a final good bye to them.
Deputy CM said that this Congress led UPA government has to go and can not survive by "horse trading with SP or BSP using the tool of CBI to pressurize them". He said that earlier elections were inevitable and people were eagerly waiting to shunt out the most corrupt government into oblivion and bring back NDA into power. He also appealed the President to sack present government as it has already lost majority in Lok Sabha. Badal said that Shiromani Akali Dal was fully geared up for Lok Sabha elections and would sweep.
